25 Jul

Lots to learn in the lazy, hazy days of summer.

Struggling to finish a sewing project? Drop me a line and come over for a personalized lesson.

If your burgers are getting boring, some homemade salsa might spice things up.

Oh my, July!

21 Jun

How about a darling sun bonnet so baby can beat the heat?

And it’s berry season! Which means we be jammin

Or maybe it’s high time for pie. Strawberry rhubarb, perhaps?

June soon!

23 May

So much to sew for summer. Will it be a skirt for mom or maybe someone’s little girl needs a new frock

Or maybe you’ve been dreaming up your own project you need a hand with… Drop me a line!

Lemon Love…

3 May

Spring time means bursting buds and blooms, and the dessert equivalent, for me, is lemon meringue pie. And a sky-high one at that.

I made this one using a simple Canadian Living recipe - a little different than the usual but just as lemony and and delicious. For the crust I use the tried and true Cooks Illustrated Fool-Proof pie crust recipe.  Vodka is the secret.
